The 29-year-old is still disappointed Samuel Eto'o's equaliser in the UEFA Champions League final was allowed to stand. Television replays showed Eto'o was narrowly offside in the build up to the goal and Barcelona went on to score the winner in the final 10 minutes. Henry believes the use of technology could have seen a different result and has backed its introduction into football. "The Champions League final was settled by an offside goal," Henry told France Football. "Once again, with the video images we could have seen that straight away. "How long would it need? 30 seconds. Four times less than the time for a team to congratulate after a goal. That is nothing. "It hurts because it is a final and it is very important." Following the defeat, Henry was tipped to quit The Gunners over the summer, before opting to stay at the club. The Arsenal captain says an important part in his decision was Arsenal's style of play and believes few teams can match their footballing ability. "We reached the Champions League final, and I told myself Arsenal were capable, just like Barcelona, to reach that level," he said. "Was it important in my final decision to stay at Arsenal? At first, I told myself Arsenal had no reason to be jealous of Barcelona. "In good shape, I believe there are not a lot of teams in Europe that can play football as good as Arsenal. "Indeed, that was important in my decision." Meanwhile, the France international says team mate Lilian Thuram played a huge role in teaching him about the game during the early stages of his career. The pair played together at Monaco between 1995 and 1997 and Henry insists he was kept on his toes by the stopper. He added: "When I was young in training sessions, Lilian Thuram was marking me, and never let me have any space and gave me plenty of blows. "He always told me to remain quiet, he did it intentionally to test my stamina and when I was a little asleep on the pitch, he'd wake me up in a harsh way. "I like his honesty and his way to get to you.
