The Czech Republic midfielder, who is expected to be a major star at the World Cup finals, had agreed a ￡7million move to the Spanish capital from Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund, but Atletico now fear they may lose the player to Arsenal. Arsene Wenger is a long-time admirer of the attacking midfielder and has had the player watched all season. He is now ready to make a move and Rosicky, 25, would undoubtedly choose Arsenal above Atletico. But Wenger still risks losing Ashley Cole, who will go into this summer's World Cup with England, waiting on Real Madrid and Chelsea before his future at Arsenal is decided. England team-mate Sol Campbell's career at the club is also in the balance while Robert Pires is now hopeful he will secure a new two-year deal to stay at Arsenal. But even the news that Henry is not leaving will not necessarily be sufficient to persuade Cole to join his teammates at the new Emirates Stadium next season.
