Wenger's young Arsenal stars have shown their class in the last couple of months of the season and they could cap a memorable campaign with victory over Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League final. The studious Frenchman has never been afraid to give youth a chance and is likely to continue the policy next term, but he also believes they will derive great benefit from having an old head in the ranks. Sol Campbell and Kolo Toure have major big-game experience, but Wenger feels the presence of a World Cup and European Championship winner could take the likes of Philippe Senderos, Emmanuel Eboue and Gael Clichy to the next level. Wenger is a huge admirer of Thuram and reports suggest he may try and lure his compatriot to North London this summer. Thuram could fancy a new adventure after six seasons with Juventus, but a potential stumbling block could be the 34-year-old's wage demands.
