The list for Japan
This Friday coach Miguel Angel Russo handed over the roster of 22 players
who will travel to Japan to compete in the World Club Tournament to take
place between December 13 and 16.
Uncertain is what will happen with Juan Román Riquelme, whether FIFA will
allow him to be player Nº 23 and travel to the most important competition of
the world at the club level.
The list of players to travel includes goalkeepers Pablo Migliore,
Javier García and Mauricio Caranta; defenders Hugo Ibarra, Jonatan Maidana,
Juan Angel Krupoviesa, Gabriel Paletta, Claudio Morel Rodríguez,
Matías Cahais and Matías Silvestre; midfielders Pablo Ledesma,
Sebastián Battaglia, Ever Banega, Fabián Vargas, Neri Cardozo,
Nicolás Bertolo, Leandro Gracián and Alvaro González,
and forwards Martín Palermo, Rodrigo Palacio, Mauro Boselli and Carlos Bueno.
