Al-Sadd men faced-off a tough competition from struggling Qatar club. However, Zarate’s first half goal gave Al-Sadd an early lead before Qatar’s striker Sebastian realized the equalizer. The same man’s header put the rival in the lead only few minutes after a bar refused a perfect shot from Felipi. Al-Sadd lacked the striking force of Tenorio, even-though the squad was much more closer to bag the 3 points and the squad has his mark on the game. Al-Sadd is now 14 points in the second league rank. In the post-game conference Al-Sadd’s coach said it was a tough tight game. “My team showed good performance particularly in the second half when were in a better position to expand the lead.. true the result is not in our favor and is not what we opt for”.
