Course Goals:
To introduce students to main issues involved in processing of conceptual
metaphors
To have students learn how to read and analyze psycholinguistic literature
To introduce students to setting up and run experiments
ꄊ To have students write a brief research paper (10-15 pages) that sets
forth a specific hypothesis, examines the previous literature and presents
an experimental design to shed light on the issue. Preliminary off-line
experiments (on 10 to 20 subjects) should also be included.
