The meeting came after bookies' favourite Danyl Johnson found himself in the bottom two along with girl band Miss Frank. Both acts had received praise from the judges following their performances on Saturday night's big band show and Simon Cowell branded Danyl's presence in the bottom two as "a joke". A source at the programme told The Sun: "They need to work out whether they've given the acts the best songs." The insider added that the producers want to ensure that "the best acts" do not end up in a similar position over the coming weeks. News of the meeting came after controversial act John and Edward once again found themselves voted through to the next round by the public. The duo were booed by the studio audience and faced criticism by the judges for their singing.
