LOUIS -- Yadier Molina still has to wait a while before he learns whether he's a Gold Glover, but by one measure, Molina has already been crowned as tops at his position. Molina, along with Albert Pujols, was named Thursday as a recipient of a Fielding Bible Award. The awards are given Major League-wide, rather than one in each league, so Molina's selection marks him as the top defensive catcher in either league. He beat out last year's winner and 12-time Gold Glove winner Ivan Rodriguez. Molina threw out 46 percent of would-be basestealers this year. He was charged with six errors and seven passed balls. Also bringing home an award was Pujols, who could be in line for his second Gold Glove when the awards are announced later this month. Pujols was the only repeat Fielding Bible Award winner and received the largest percentage of votes of any player at any position.
