The research is funded by the Flagship Research Project between the Masdar Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The successful candidate will work at Masdar Institute and collaborate with three MIT professors: Profs. Evelyn Wang, Gang Chen, Nicholas Fang. This position will provide an interdisciplinary research opportunity in the fields of solar energy engineering and applied physics. This position will offer very competitive packages: tax-free salary ~US$72K/year, plus health insurance and relocation allowance, etc. Qualification: Candidates for this position should hold a Ph.D. in applied physics or engineering. Successful applicants, preferably with strong physics backgrounds, should have great research capabilities in light absorption and conversion, such as device fabrication and FDTD simulation. Fluency in English is required. This position will be for an initial duration of one year with possible extension to two years. Both male and female individuals are encouraged to apply.
