Research Positions at National Centre University We are inviting applications for three post doc positions to develop mesh generation and graphical user infterface (GUI) for several legend numerical models (for example FEMWATER, HYDROGEOCHEM, WASH123D, BEST3D, etc.) and to conduct research in developing hydrology models. The positions will begin immediately. The candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Sciences, Applied Mathematics, computational fluid dynamics, geomechanics, multiphase flow, surface water hydrology, groundwater hydrology or reactive chemical transport with experience in Modeling and Simulations, and related areas. The successful candidates will focus on the development of modeling platform and watershed models, adding to the expertise of a team in the development of simulators. Strong backgrounds in 3-dimensional finite element mesh generations and user graphical-based interface (GUI) developments are mandatory for two of the three positions. Experience in developing physics-based numerical models in hydrodynamics, hydraulics, hydrology, or biochemical transport is a must for the other position. Proficiency in C++, FORTRAN, and Java language is required.
