多孔洞材料内局限水的结构与动力学 徵聘： 博士後研究、研究助理 （五月三十日止） 研究领域 (多孔洞材料内局限水的结构与动力学)： Dynamics and properties of water under confinements have been studied extensively due to its fundamental importance in understanding several counter-intuitive anomalies in the thermodynamics properties of water as temperature changes. However, studying these fundamental issues are often hindered either by extremely slow dynamics in low temperature and/or existence of homogenous nucleation into crystalline phase at TH ~ 235K. Water confined in nanopores, so narrow that the liquid cannot freeze, has been used to explore properties of water below TH. Prof. Mou and Prof. Chen have applied various light sources and neutron scattering techniques to reveal fascinating aspect of H-bonding structure of liquid water under meso-porous silica. For example, their experimental results provide strong indication for the existence of a liquid-liquid critical point and a pronounced violation of the Stokes-Einstein relation.
