标题[问题] 存款利息的退税文件

首先要感谢 davidcl 的存款利息退税的分享
离开英国前，我寄了R40到英国的退税机构，以申请存款利息的退税
一个礼拜後，就收到了tax office的回信
信上说无法追纵我的资料
要求我提供national insurance number or temporary referenc number
同时要求我填P85的表格
然而，上网查了一下，
似乎只有申请过工作签证的人，才会有national insurance number
我本身是拿学生签证，因此没有这组号码
不晓得是否有版上的朋友有相同的经验，
我要去那边查national insurance number呢？谢谢!!
附上原文：
I have returned the form to you as I cannot trace your record. Please
provide a National Insurance Number or Temporary Reference Number if you
have one.
Please also complete the enclosed P85 leaving the UK form and return it to
me.
