London translation company seeks fluent speakers of‘Glaswegian English’

一家伦敦翻译社在格拉斯哥的报纸上刊登「诚甄格拉斯哥语译者」广告。他们
希望找到「对『格式英语』字汇、腔调及语义等知识有充分理解者」。这家公
司的老板是一位已在英国居住多年、能讲流利英语的立陶宛移民，但她说上回
她在格拉斯哥渡假时，发现她还是很难与当地居民沟通。格拉斯哥是头一个列
名该公司求才名单的城市，而该社表示，说不定利物浦与新堡会是下回徵才的
目标。
格拉斯哥前市长闻讯大笑，他说：那麽那家公司可能需要找很多译者，分别来
自格市不同区域；因为有些浑话甚至在格市南北边都不同。
