Sam's ace for charity 2 Jan 2011 Sam用ace球做公益 Australia’s best tennis player Sam Stosur is donating $100 from every ace she serves at the Brisbane International to the Queensland flood victims. 澳洲网球好手Sam Stosur宣布 她在布里斯本赛每发出一记Ace球 就会捐赠100澳币给昆士 兰的水灾灾民。 Her pledge has already been supported by former world No.1 Andy Roddick who will also give $100 for every ace he serves. 前世界排名第一的A-Rod也支持她的行动 他也同样每发出一记Ace球 就捐赠100澳币 Stosur knows from personal experience the damage floods can cause.“The way the people of Queensland have been affected by the floods is really close to my heart,” Stosur said. 因为自身的经验 Stosur非常清楚洪水会带来什麽灾害 "我对昆士兰灾民的经历感同身受" Stosur表示 “I only remember a few details of what happen to my family in 1987 but it turned our way of life upside down and was devastating to my family. It could have been a lot worse as my younger brother’s cot was completely submerged in water but he was in my parent’s bed that night.
