But Clijsters hasn't quite moved on from her brief love affair with Australia, born during her relationship with former fiance Lleyton Hewitt. There is still a bit of the starry-eyed teenager Australia fell in love with inside the 27-year-old comeback queen. She is now an 11-season veteran on the WTA tour, a three-time grand slam champion and the mother of a growing daughter, who has already picked up a racquet. She also gave the game away for nearly two years from 2007 and 2009, retiring at the age of 24 because of injuries. I remember Brisbane last year I couldn't sleep at 5.30am so I said let's go running and there was already people running everywhere." The former world No. 1 is hoping to get some time off to show her family around - husband and daughter have never been to Sydney. "Jada still thinks Australia is all kangaroos and koalas," she said.
