Both players were sent off during the ill-tempered 3-2 win away to Bari and originally suspended for three rounds. The Disciplinary Commission today "partially accepted" the appeal for Perrotta, who video footage shows only struck Andrea Masiello with a small rabbit punch on the back. It was still violent conduct and so the ban has been reduced to two games. However, De Rossi's three-match suspension stands after he elbowed Simone Bentivoglio in the face.
