Could have done better to make his presence felt on the corner that led to the Hangeland goal, but besides that, he had a fairly solid night in between the sticks. Andreolli – 7: Made a crucial clearance on 15 minutes to deny Hangeland the chance to score, however he was the man at fault for allowing that defender to score Fulham’s goal. To his credit though, he made amends by netting the equaliser at the death. Mexes – 6: Clumsy at times, and looked very shaky early on. Made a goal saving interception on 58 minutes though, to successfully clear a Zamora ball across the face of goal. Burdisso – 5.5: Similar to his central defensive partner, he failed to find his feet at any stage of the match, and struggled to contend with the pace of the Fulham attacks. Riise – 6: Struggled to cope with the attacking threat of his brother, however he looked dangerous every time he moved forward himself. Had a wonderful volley well saved by Schwarzer on 32 minutes, and he was the man who won the penalty for Roma. Taddei – 5: Continued his struggles this term, as he has simply lost the ability to have an impact at this level. Was replaced midway through the second half by Vucinic. De Rossi – 6: The captain worked hard, however it just was not his night. Wasteful from dead ball situations, and lacked support in midfield. Scored early in the second half, but his header was correctly ruled out for offside. Guberti – 6.5: Looked threatening when in possession, however he was unable to find the ball at his feet as often as he would have liked to. Saw an effort brush the crossbar on 47 minutes, and overall continued his good form from his cameo against Milan. Brighi – 5: Has failed to rediscover the form that he showed last season, and this was the case once again tonight, as he was withdrawn from the field after just 45 minutes of play. Okaka – 4.5: Completely anonymous in the first half, and was unsurprisingly replaced by Perrotta at the commencement of the second half. Menez – 5.5: Looked sluggish and disinterested at times. Burst into life in the second half, after the likes of Perrotta and Pizarro were introduced, however he was the man who missed the penalty for Roma. Substitutes Perrotta – 6.5: Changed the game with his experience in the second half. Pizarro – 7: Provided the assist for the Andreolli equaliser, and was easily the Giallorossi’s best player throughout the second half.
