Serie A clubs Roma and Siena have finally reached an agreement over goalkeeper Gianluca Curci, his agent Claudio Sclosa has confirmed. “Curci will stay at Siena, we have just renewed the co-ownership deal,” he is quoted as saying on Dire. Curci moved to the Robur last summer as part of the deal which brought defender Simone Loria and goalkeeper Arthur to the Eternal City. The 23-year-old has earned rave reviews last term and it was claimed the Giallorossi were considering calling him back to base to play second fiddle to Brazilian Doni. However, they have now opted to let him stay at the Franchi for another season to gain more experience, but Curci looks destined to become the first choice at the Olimpico in years to come. Roma are also expected to renew the co-ownership of midfielder Ahmed Barusso today. The 24-year-old was on loan at Siena last season, but could return to Rimini who still co-own the player with the Giallorossi.
