European aims Taddei has signed a five-year contract with the Giallorossi who finished eighth in Serie A. Roma will compete in the UEFA Cup next season after reaching the Coppa Italia final where they face UEFA Champions League qualifiers FC Internazionale Milano. Prolific scorer Taddei joined Siena in 2002 from Brazilian club Palmeiras FC and helped them win promotion to Serie A for the first time that season.
