虽然是过期新闻(10/1在韩国的表演)
但是对这个团体的第一印象
有点像 Vocal Line
然而听了试听曲目之後
又觉得其实不太一样
Jazzchor Freiburg on Korean Tour
What would jazz versions of Beatles' songs such as ``If I Fell''
and ``She's Leaving Home'' sound like? You will have a chance to find
out. European jazz choir Jazzchor Freiburg is presenting their jazz
versions of the pop classics on their first Korean tour.
Founded and led by German conductor Bertrand Groger in 1990,
Jazzchor Freiburg has gained international recognition through winning
various awards such as the first prize at the international choir
competition in Limburg 1996, the first prize at the German Choir
Competition in 1998 and the first prize at the Choir Olympics in Korea 2002.
The vocal band's repertoire ranges from swing to fusion, aiming to
bridge the gap between art and entertainment. Groger writes most of the
arrangements so that the Jazzchor can give a choral sound to the four to
six-part voice arrangements made popular by such vocal groups as Manhattan
Transfer and the New York Voices.
With scat arrangements, collective rap and shout choruses, the band
comprising around 30 singers gives a whole new twist to famous songs by
Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Nat King Cole.
........
It is presenting 19 songs, including some a cappella songs. Recorder
player Tobias Reisige, pianist Daniel Waech, double bassist Andres
Buchholz and drummer Matthias Fuechsle will perform for the choir to sing
such songs as ``Mr. P.C.'' by John Coltrane, ``The Garden'' by Bobby
McFerrin, ``Ain't But The One'' by Duke Ellington, ``Straighten Up And
Fly Right'' by Nat King Cole and ``So What'' by Miles Davis.

官方网站很有质感
http://www.jazzchorfreiburg.de/
跟斑马线网站一样使用黑白色调,
但是人家的经费预算和设计能力高了一点 ^^"
没关系,来日方长(搭肩)
有兴趣的记得去听一下试听曲目喔! :)
