However, on Friday evening Fiorentina sources confirmed the Coach would be staying for the 2011-12 season. For a while the news agencies all over Italy claimed a Press release was imminent to confirm this, but it seems they have chosen not to make such a formal stand. It represents a surprise, as Mihajlovic is not particularly popular among the Viola supporters. This represents the second snub for Inter, as Marcelo Bielsa already turned down the job “due to personal reasons.” General manager Ernesto Paolillo told Bloomberg: "Leonardo has left Inter and is heading to Paris.
