Fiorentina have been trying to tie up a deal for quite sometime now, but have finally succeeded after the player passed a medical, before agreeing personal terms. The Viola will pay Partizan ￡5 million for the striker, who has scored 19 goals in 63 appearances for the Serbian outfit. "I've bought an important player," said Fiorentina transfer chief Corvino. "Jovetic wanted to come here, I've agreed to pay ￡5 million and can announce his purchase."
