The 18-year-old Hable, who has been playing for Hradec Kralove this season, had been strongly linked with a move to Internazionale. However, a deal with Fiorentina has instead been agreed, for a fee reported to be in the region of €800,000 (￡540,000). According to Italian regulations, the contract could not have been signed before the Serie A season finished. "We had the final negotiations on Saturday in Florence where we resolved the details and today Jan signed a contract valid from 1st July 2007," Hradec Kralove general director Richard Jukl told CTK. Hable, who spent a week on trial at Celtic in December, is now looking to make the most of his opportunity. "My dream has come true. I want to get into the first team and to taste Serie A."
