The striker is reportedly near to ending his adventure with Real Madrid following a spat with Coach Fabio Capello and has been paired with a return to the peninsula. Milan are allegedly interested in the Bari-born player's services, but Fiorentina and Napoli have also been mentioned in the past few days – even if both clubs have denied that they will make a January offer. But Prandelli, who briefly worked with Cassano during his stint on the Roma bench, has opened the door for a future swoop. 「I would one day like to work with him again as I think we could do some interesting things together,」 said Prandelli who quit as Roma boss in 2004 to look after his ill wife. 「This will probably not happen now, but maybe in the future,」 added the Viola boss who believes that Cassano just needs some help to express his talent. 「I did not work with him enough to be able to make a complete judgement, but I think that he is a victim of his own emotions. 「Whoever signs him needs to know that he must play at least 20 matches. 「At the time being we do not need any new players, but I hope I will have a chance to work with him in the future.
