The Romanian joined the Viola from Juventus last week, with Valeri Bojinov going in the other direction, and he's happy with the switch. “I have a five-year contract which I aim to respect,” said the former Parma sensation. “I hope to bring my playing days to an end in Florence. “Coming here to Fiorentina was the right decision. I wanted to join a club with a great project and I want to do well.” Mutu was once heralded as one of the brightest prospects in the European game, especially after he joined Chelsea in a multi-million pound deal. However, the ex-Inter and Verona man lost his way in the Premiership and a failed drugs test led to a lengthy suspension and a Stamford Bridge sacking.
