“The word ‘I’ must disappear forever from the head of each player and be
replaced by the word ‘we’. They must sacrifice their personal interest for
the group.” This is the fundamental concept that the General Director of
Fiorentina expressed during a press conference at the Franchi stadium during
which he announced the early retreat for the squad at Montecatini from
tomorrow morning till Saturday.
