在「卡管」聲浪下，台北商業大學校長張瑞雄獲教育部認證，能不被「卡關」續任4年校長，在典禮中引起不少趣味迴響。除了高希均教授的調侃外，也有北商校友致詞時稱讚張校長不但德才兼備、且文武全能，練就「九陽真經」，稱讚詞「意在言外」。 教育部主秘朱楠賢致詞時表示，北商大積極與產官學研合作成效卓著。近年在商業、設計、金融、財管領域都得到各界的肯定，更在跨領域學習發展做得有聲有色。擁有知識份子言所該言的風骨，張校長學經歷都十分完整，相信必能帶領北商邁向下一個里程碑。 台北科技大學王錫福校長在致詞時說，「北商與北科之於台灣的商業、工業，好比是一部電影中的男、女主角一般，不可或缺！」他回顧當他唸北科大前身二專時，最喜歡跟時為北商專的女同學聯誼。如今北科大與北商大有許多共同的發展經驗，應該多多互動。 張瑞雄在典禮上提到未來願景說，其一，打響學校知名度，打造出屬於北商的品牌。其二，加強北商的國際化，鼓勵教師及學生到國外交換，並承辦國際會議。其三，繼續推動課程改革，減少學生修課限制，培養學生的跨領域能力。其四，校內行政效率資訊化。其五，確實執行高教深耕計畫，提升學校整體水平。其六，培養學生實務與團隊合作能力，鼓勵學生重視人脈關係與跨領域精神。
