Former NBA center and now Philadelphia 76ers player development coach Roy
Hibbert learned a lot during his brief stint with the Los Angeles Lakers in
2015-16. And his connection with the team and Kobe Bryant helped him prepare
for life after basketball.
前中鋒而現在是76人球員發展教練的Roy Hibbert在2015-16年時，曾經在湖人短暫打球，
但是學到了很多東西。他與湖人以及Kobe Bryant的關係讓他準備好在NBA籃球生涯後的生
活了。
In an interview with Ben Standig of The Athletic, the new Sixers coach
revealed that he invested on Kobe Bryant’s venture capital funds. He then
acknowledged Kobe’s business acumen, calling the Lakers icon a “killer on
and off the court.”
在與The Athletic記者Ben Standig的訪問中，這位76人的新教練透露了他有投資Kobe的創
投，他之後更讚許了Kobe在生意上的敏銳，稱Kobe"場上場外都是殺手級"。
“I didn’t like bouncing around from team to team (late in my career), but
playing with the Lakers I had a good rapport with Kobe (Bryant). His VC fund,
I invested some money with him. He’s a killer on and off the court,”
Hibbert explained.
「在我生涯末段，我很不喜歡在各個隊伍換來換去，但是當我在湖人期間我跟Kobe建立了
很好的關係，我有在他的創投投資，他真的場上場外都是殺手等級，」Hibbert解釋。
“I have some investments that I won’t get into right now, but they’re
producing. I make my money work for me.”
「我有些投資，我就不著墨了，我只說是有賺的，我用錢滾錢。」
Hibbert was a perennial Eastern Conference contender with the Indiana Pacers
in his days with Danny Granger, George Hill, David West and a young Paul
George. The two-time All-Star, however, was out of the league by 2017 as the
NBA became more guard-oriented.
Hibbert在他在溜馬的期間，在東區領先群多年，那時隊上有Danny Granger，George
Hill，David West以及年輕的Paul George。生涯兩次進入明星賽，不過因為NBA生態轉變
成後衛風，他在2017就離開NBA了。
Fortunately for Hibbert, he knows how to take care of his money and didn’t
allow himself to go broke unlike some of his NBA peers before him. His time
with the Lakers helped him, and now, he will look to provide guidance to
players — both on and off the court.
幸運的是，他知道怎樣照顧好他的錢，不像其他一些比他早退休的球星就破產了。他在湖
人的時間幫到了他，他現在則是會把他的經驗傳承給年輕球員--包括場上及場外。
