However, while many SURF students fill the labs at Caltech during the summer months, have you ever wondered what it would be like to SURF abroad? Last year 9 students participated in SURF Projects in countries including Germany, Hong Kong, Poland, Singapore and Switzerland. Join as several of these students share their experiences of doing research abroad and what they learned about the host country and themselves. At the end of the program, the SURF Office will talk about how you can have your next SURF project take you around the world!
